Time-For-Some-Career-Goals

There has been so much talk recently about different types of #goals, but not much has been said about #CareerGoals.

I want to change that, starting today!

For the next month or so, I am going to be all about the #CareerGoals with ya’ll.

Last year, between November to March, I applied for over 2000 jobs. I also went on over 250 interviews, wrote countless cover letters, and basically went balls out in securing my current position.

Needless to say, I have struggled through the trenches, and can now confidently report back from the other side.

And I didn’t just settle for any old job – I get to work every day at my┬ádream job. (Well, that’s a lie. My DREAM job would be to be Michelle Obama or Kerry Washington’s personal assistant. But outside of that, this is my dream job.)

So yes, it is possible to find your perfect fit in a job. And yes, it is possible to not wake up and feel like, “Oh, this shit again?”

I will walk you through everything from knowing when it’s time to say goodbye, what to do when you’ve been let go or quit, through the seriously awful application process and all the way to negotiating your best salary once you’ve landed your dream job.

Come with me on this #CareerGoals journey and I promise you won’t regret it!
